Eaton

Eaton is a fluid, electricity, and mechanical power management company that has been in existence for over 100 years. A large and established company, Eaton has customers in over 175 countries – and Texas Final Drive is the sole distributor of Eaton Final Drive Hydraulic Motors for the United States.



Eaton is the OEM hydraulic motor and final drive supplier for several makes heavy equipment and construction equipment, both domestic and international, ranging in size from skid-steers to full-size excavators.



HISTORY

Eaton first became involved with hydraulics in 1965 when their engineers developed a hydraulic-driven transmission. Then in 1970 Eaton acquired Char-Lynn, known for hydraulic steering units and general purpose hydraulic motors. This marked the beginning of Eaton’s focus on the LSHT motors used in the construction industry.



US DISTRIBUTOR

The continued to expand their portfolio when they acquired Aero-quip Vickers. They added hydraulic swing motors and track motors to their portfolio when they acquired Jeil Hydraulics. Now they are expanding their market by making Texas Final Drive their US supplier.
