Sany

Sany produces a wide variety of equipment to support the construction, mining, road construction, and petroleum industries. There products include hydraulic excavators ranging in size from mini to large, loaders, crawler cranes, tower cranes, mobile cranes, rotary drilling rigs, motor graders, rollers, pavers, and off-highway mining trucks.

Sany’s history begins in 1986 with the Hunan Lianyuan Welding Material Factory, which became the Hunan Sany Group in 1991. The Heavy Industry Group was formed in 1994, the same year that Sany began making innovations in the design of the truck-mounted concrete pump. In 2000, the division became Sany Heavy Industry Inc.

In 2003, Sany’s focus shifted to oil drilling machinery and excavators, and it seemed that every few years they were building some key piece of equipment that was the largest in China or Asia, including a 1000 ton truck crane, a 200 ton hydraulic excavator, a whole rock roadheader, and a fully hydraulic rotary drilling rig. This was followed by 3600 ton crawler crane, a concrete pump with the longest boom in the world, and a concrete pump with record-breaking vertical pumping height. Sany equipment continues to be popular around the world.
