Bobcat

Bobcat is a well-known construction equipment brand. The Bobcat company manufacturers skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, compact excavators, telehandlers, utility vehicles, and various attachments. Bobcat equipment is used in many different industries, including construction, landscaping, demolition, ranching, and agriculture.

The Bobcat name is almost synonymous with the skid steer, and it can trace its heritage back to the original skid steer manufacturers: Melroe. Through the years, Bobcat has been owned by Melroe, Clark, Ingersoll Rand, and now Doosan. However, the Bobcat name has always been associated with quality products.

Bobcat was also the innovator behind the compact track loader when they added rubber tracks to a skid steer. The name Bobcat was inspired by the animal with its reputation for toughness, agility, and versatility – three terms that remain associated with the Bobcat brand to this day. Their tagline is “one tough animal” and their equipment seems to live up to that claim.
